4 Locks to Failure - The W.A.L.L. Mentality

Why do some people overcome their natural born circumstances and others wallow in their misery demanding payment though they lack any positive contribution to their community? Why do some climb the ladder of success starting in the mailroom with their bachelors degree and others refuse to work unless they are paid over $30,000 a year with their GED?

It is a lack of diligence and a lack of discipline.

This attitude has created a lower class that is enforced by our liberal public education system that produces as many failures and drop outs as they do college educated career motivated individuals.

The public school system is designed to produce a ruling class and a working class. That is why there is no public outcry of the amount of taxes that is spent on administration without any proven results. That is why the NEA (National Education Association), the largest teachers union in the country becomes defensive and offended when the government oversees their success to continue receiving federal funds above their local taxes. Shockingly, that is why many...many public school teachers, administrators, and government officials send their children to private school.

We have allowed liberal policies to dumb down our country in public schools and form a personal worldview that is defeated and discouraged by their perception of the W.A.L.L. they can not climb. These are the 4 Locks to Failure.

  • W - Welfare
  • A - Assistance
  • L - Lack
  • L- Laziness
Over the next four weeks, I will explain each brick in this wall beginning with welfare. We will always have the poor Jesus said. We must open our eyes and realize that this is a cursed earth. However, the commandment of Christ is to help the least among us, not the snakes among us.

The Jewish/Christian worldview places a moral responsibility on us to help the Strangers, Orphans, and Widows. In modern terms, we are to help the single moms, the children whose father is in prison, the military families whose father or mother is oversees while the family is losing their home to foreclosure, the sick and disabled, and others as these. We are not to take the funds that morally should be allocated to them and sinfully spend them on healthy people who simply refuse to try to live out their God given purpose to work and serve.

They can overcome the W.A.L.L. if they know that they have to climb it. Let's motivate our community to climb the W.A.L.L. and experience all that life can be. There is more to come...

Less Laws In A World of Lawlessness

The bible says that the power of lawlessness is already at work in the earth. This statement is evident in the recent attack on laws or the principles that influence those laws. In the past 35 years the Courts have changed abortion laws, sodomy laws, and now have changed the laws concerning gay marriage in the state of CA.

We are quickly becoming a lawless society. We have "less" laws then we had before concerning moral standards. I am a progressive thinker, but I define the final goal that I am progressing towards quite different than other so-called progressive thinkers. I do believe we need to move forward, but casting off moral restraints and changing the laws to be less effective is progressing towards a lawless culture.

Moving forward usually implies moving up. However, our Frankenstein experiment of a new morality means moving forward is moving down. We are lowering our standards, when we ought to be raising our standards. Moving backwards and moving down does not seem to be progressive but a shift towards a less enlightened time of the Dark Ages.

We need to raise the standards and expect more out of ourselves.
We need to Move the Earth and we need to move it up and forward.

Give us Barabbas! Who do you want on Nov. 4th?

as the national campaign for the U.S. Presidency begins to heat up between the two parties, may I remind you about another time in history when two men were compared side by side before the age of democracy but not before the age of mass media controlling the feelings and opinions of the people.

Jesus Christ and Barabbas in about 33 AD in the city of Jerusalem, were in the middle of a heavy and passionate election with the winner allowing to live and the other facing a Roman cross. Barabbas, according to many scholars was an insurgent and a terrorist leader of his day, who tried to overthrow the power of Rome through violence. Normally, under most circumstances and surely even up to a few days before this event, Barabbas would not have been elected to live because his actions only motivated Rome to treat and dominate the residents of Jerusalem even worse.

however, the polls changed drastically within a 24 hour period in the streets of Jerusalem causing a completely different outcome then what would have been expected just the weekend before the election.

An uniformed and a disappointed people are easy to persuade
against better judgement.

Here is a MTE political analysis:
  1. Jesus' approval rating was at an all time low the day of the election.
  2. The political and religious leaders were offended by his faith which he professed publicly.
  3. The general population was growing restless with Jesus' politcal worldview on foreign policy (how should the Jews handle the occupation of Israel by the Romans).
  4. The Jewish leaders interviewed Jesus privately and got all the soundbytes they needed to influence the general population who just days earlier praised Jesus as he entered Jerusalem.
  5. Because of the low polling numbers, his closest disciples left his party and became independents.
the leaders took the words of Jesus and did a spin master job, only duplicated by current professional spin doctors at the New York Times and CBS. the people revolted against Jesus and the crowds begun to swell calling for his death.

the mobs in Jerusalem were being manipulated by the soundbytes of those who were in the room when Jesus was interviewed. Only what they wanted the crowd to know was communicated, as they tried to control the outcome. and they did...

common sense, reason, and conscience were all rejected. anger at one leader - Jesus for his political and religious beliefs caused a majority vote for a completely different leader who was the polar opposite of Jesus - Barabbas, a secular terrorist who for a moment in time was more popular then the Messiah and Savior of the world. the crowds chanted the name of Barabbas, which means "the son of the father".

Barabbas was not the son of the father. Jesus was the Son of the Father, a.k.a. the Son of God. He was the Messiah.

but foreign policy, religious beliefs, and media controlled information caused individuals to vote out of emotion and confusion, chanting a name as if it was the name of the Messiah, but it was not.

MTE UnCommon Sense:
  1. don't follow after popular opinion reflected in the polls
  2. don't allow four minute news reports to tell you "all" the complexities of a story in such a short time
  3. don't make irrational decisions based on feelings instead of sound judgements
  4. do make an informed choice based on character
you are not electing a law maker, or a judge, or a spokesperson,
you are electing a leader

Remote Control Watchdog

There has been some controversy lately since NBC annouced a 'Family Hour' each night from 8pm-9pm and then filled the airwaves with questionable content and language. When the outcry begin from some conservative groups, the usual debate started.
Don't tell me what I can watch and not watch
If you don't like the program - change the channel

We hear this mantra of supposed freedom of speech and freedom of expression from the mouths of many citizens who believe that the federal governement or the FCC should not interfere with the content of television programs that are portrayed nightly on America's TV screens. Moral voices, such as Move the Earth, are told to simply change the channel if we do not enjoy or approve of certain programs due to their sexual or violent content and theme. This theory of moral entertainment freedom would be acceptable if the person who was watching such programs and being influenced by them lived in a bubble and not a community.

The whole world does not circle around one individual or
what he prefers for entertainment.

Simply, immoral programs are not to be banned because I or others feel it to be offensive, but because people are tempted by what they see and hear. King David in the Bible, committed adultery and murdered a man after he fornicated with the man's wife. This man was not looking at something he was not supposed to, only King David was. However, this man became the victim of King David's decision to view immoral scenes such as the bathing Bathsheeba which got him into this mess. The people who are murdered in school shootings did not listen to the music that the shooters did. The sexual offenders who crowd our prisons and are hidden in our streets did not spend their time watching Sesame Street when they became tempted to commit horrors upon women and children. These women and children were not surfing the porno sites on the internet, but they became the victim of the person who was.

We must curb gross entertainment not to please an elect few, but to protect the community from being the next victim of "freedom of expression".

With freedom comes responsibilty. Many people are not responsible enough to handle such scenes and pictures without acting out on them.

the price of a smile

it is a strange world we are living in. the media informs us of a man being pregnant though the individual is not actually a man. he/she still has a womb and female organs. this person's experience is not representing what a legitimate male would experience if he was pregnant - which of course is impossible in the real world.

the TV world has never been the real world, not even with the success of reality shows. my question to America and all its institutions and individuals is this:

why do we pay celebrities $6,000,000 for a picture of their child and the scared teenager pays $250 for the abortion procedure?

why is the smile of the rich baby worth millions and the death of an average baby worth hundreds?

just another question in America - just another example how radical individualism has stomped out the dreams of a collective community (my generation and my children's generation, over 40 million of us have been aborted so far...and counting)
